My
name is Ian Watson and I am a Church of Scotland minister. My
parish is Kirkmuirhill, which is ten minutes south of Hamilton, and
sixty miles from the border with England. I am married to Kim and
we have two children. I’m a very simple man. I live to preach; I love to preach. I am minister of a wonderful congregation who allow me to proclaim the gospel to my heart’s content twice every Sunday. If you want to pigeon hole me theologically (I don’t mind) I am Reformed, orthodox, evangelical. I’m a great fan of the Puritans, but not uncritically so. My favourite Bible commentators are Calvin, Carson, Morris. Contact me: ian.watson21@btopenworld.com |

My name is Tim Mason and
I come from Derbyshire where I grew up on a farm. I became a Christian
when I was 17 and a number of years after went to Bible college to
train for Christian Service. My job in the Church here in Kirkmuirhill
invloves both pastoral ministry and evangelism. I even help out at the
charity shop!
One of my favourite verses is Psalm 105:3 'Seek the
LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!' This reminds us
of our continual need for the Lord's help in our lives
